Final Prep for Third Scientific Meeting

Dr. Christo TchervenkovWe are in the final sprint of the preparation for the Third Scientific Meeting of the World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery that will take place from June 23 until   June 26, 2011. The meeting will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, a historic and fascinating metropolis straddling the continents of Asia and Europe. 

World Society Now Incorporated

The World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery is pleased to announce that it is now incorporated in Canada as of April 7, 2011 with a head office in Montreal, Canada. Download the incorporation by-laws .

The by-laws will be ratified at the annual business meeting of the membership. This is a major step forward in ensuring the Society can achieve is goals and fulfil its mandate.

Second Scientific Meeting 2009

Fifth World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery June 22-25, 2009, Cairns, Australia

The World Society Meeting will be during the 5th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. There will be a comprehensive Postgraduate Course on Common Atrioventricular Junction. There will also be several scientific sessions with oral presentations as well as posters. Some of these sessions will be jointly chaired by the World Society as well as the World Congress. A Joint World Society/World Congress Surgical Program Committee will review the abstract submissions in January 2009 and notifications of acceptance will be sent out in early February 2009.
