Abstract Submissions

Abstracts for Poster Presentations at the WSPCHS 2018

Attendees are invited to submit abstracts depicting original research, evidence-based practice and/or quality improvement relevant to the study of pediatric cardiovascular care. Authors will select the category which best fits their content from the following categories: Surgery, Cardiology, Anesthesia, Intensive Care, Nursing, Perfusion or Administration. Abstracts must be 500 words or less and typed in English. You will be asked to enter the presenting author’s name and contact information, as well as the names and emails of the co-authors. Abstracts should be structured with 4 sections: Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Abstracts may include 1 table and 1 figure.

Interview with Dr. Christo Tchervenkov

Dr. Tchervenkov is the chief of cardiac surgery at Montreal Children’s Hospital and Professor of Surgery at McGill University. He trained in general surgery, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at McGill University. He was Chief Resident in pediatric cardiac surgery at the Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School with Aldo Castaneda. He was the founding president of the World Society of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and currently serves as Executive Director
